The Impact offers boys and girls, ages 7-10, the opportunity to earn Star Patches for their uniforms. This will reward players for their technical soccer skills. For each skill mastered during testing, players will receive one Star Patch from their coach. Testing will be progressive according to age. Achievements will also be recognized on a bulletin board at the field and the Impact website. The star categories are as follows:

1. Dribbling
   Players must complete a series of dribbling obstacle courses, using both feet, different speeds, and different parts of their feet.
   
   
2. Juggling
   Players will need to be able to juggle the ball using their feet, thighs, chest, and heads.
   

   Under 7	10
   Under 8	15
   Under 9	20
   Under 10	25

   
   
3. Trapping
   Players will be required to perform different types of trapping drills, using their body and feet.
   
   
4. Moves
   Players will need to be able to execute various moves on command.
   
   
5. Shooting
   Player will need to be able to shoot the ball with power and placement using the proper form.
   
   * Testing will be progressive through out both fall and spring seasons. Testing will be on the second and fourth Thursday of every other month.
