Impact USA team names:
Impact USA Nike
Impact USA Swoosh
Nike: Local team composed of the best players from the surrounding areas. These teams are capable of competing for State Championships and Premier level tournaments. (Example: Atlanta Cup, Germantown Invitational, Mead CUSA Cup)
Swoosh: Local team composed of players that have premier level player potential, but need more time to fully develop his/her skills. A Swoosh team should be capable of competing in local area tournaments and lower division state tournaments. (Example: Stones River Invitational, Kicks Invitational, Kaos Invitational)
Impact USA is always trying to raise the bar to create an Elite training ground for the serious soccer player. Keeping this in mind, the Nike Elite program has been created:
Nike Elite: State Wide team composed of our best players from all of our clubs. These teams are capable of competing with the top nationally ranked teams in the country. Nike Elite teams will compete in the highest level tournaments possible. (Example: W.A.G.S., Las Vegas Shootout, Nike Invitational, Raleigh Shootout, Surf Cup, Jefferson Cup).
Impact USA will form Elite level teams starting at age u9 for two tournaments per season. All players from Nike teams will be allowed to participate if they choose to do so. The Impact staff will put together teams made up of players from all Impact clubs and get them ready to compete in the two events each season. This will be an additional expense and require additional time on top of the local team commitments. This will give Impact families and players a chance to develop relationships, play with the best, and receive instruction from different Impact staff coaches. At the Division 1 level (u14 and above), this team may be the primary team representing the Impact at the state and regional tournament. These teams will be called:
