Meadow Creek Park. 

It is located just south of Karns High (and the railroad tracks) on Rt. 131 near the Smoky Mtn. Tennis Academy.   A field adjacent to the new field also serves as the site for the Impact’s recreational league. 

To get to the fields, stay on Middlebrook Pike, then turn right onto Ball Camp-Byington Road (Rt. 131).  After the one-lane bridge, turn left into the dirt driveway (just before the Tennis Academy).

The first 1½ fields were sodded in August and have been played on since late September.   At some point this spring we will officially dedicate this as Elizabeth (Midge) Hurlburt Field, in memory of the Impact and Bearden High player who was tragically killed in May 2003.

The last field will be sodded or sprigged next spring.  Once that phase of the project is completed, we will work on getting lights up, and eventually on building a building housing a concession stand, rest rooms and a clubhouse.   Sweat equity has been donated by the coaching staff, parents and players.  Let’s keep it going!
