The Impact is the premier soccer program in Tennessee, with three different locations (Knoxville, Central, and Northeast), for both boys and girls ages 7-19 years old. The Impact Nike Premier program is designed for players who strive to play and compete at the highest levels. Impact Premier teams attend in town and out of town tournaments and compete each year for their age-group state championships. (TSSA holds Division II State Cup u13 & below; Division I State Cup tournaments starting at u14.)Between the founding of the Impact - Knoxville in 2001 and the state tournament in 2006, 12 Impact - Knoxville teams won TSSA state championships. Another ten teams made championship games. State champions move on to the Region III championships, where they compete with championship teams from 13 southeastern states, including Texas and Oklahoma. Impact Premier teams often have the opportunity to compete throughout the season against the top teams in Region III. In 2007, two teams won their respective age groups of the Premier League, the 92 Impact girls and 89 Impact boys.Many Impact Premier players continue to play in college. Impact Alumni are currently playing at NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III and NAIA colleges. Impact players have attend 59 different colleges.Impact Premier coaches teach their teams to compete at the state and regional levels and prepare their players to compete at the college level. Impact Premier coaches have the highest levels of certification, including National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) National licenses and United States Soccer Federation (USSF) licenses. Many Impact staff members also coach at the college level.
The Impact Premier Program offers four (4) levels for teams to compete at:
- Elite- State Wide team composed of our best players from all of our clubs. These teams are capable of competing with the top nationally ranked teams in the country. Nike Elite teams will compete in the highest level tournaments possible.
- Nike- Local team composed of the best players from the surrounding areas. These teams are capable of competing for State Championships and Premier level tournaments.
- Swoosh- Local team composed of players that have premier level player potential, but need more time to fully develop his/her skills. A Swoosh team should be capable of competing in local area tournaments and lower division state tournaments.
- Pool- (ages 7 & 8) a group of about 21 players that train together. For games the pool is split into 3 teams.
