92 Nike Impact Girls Win U15 Premier League
The 92 Nike Impact girls' soccer team has won the 2007 Premier League Championship in their division, made up of five southeastern states.
With wins over the Clinton, Miss., Rage (3-0) and the Jackson, Miss., Football Club (3-1), the Nike Impact finished with a record of 7-1-1.
The Nike Impact will defend their state title June 9-12 in Germantown, Tenn. The Premier League title gives the team a guaranteed berth in the Region III Championships in Oklahoma City in late June. The winner of the regional tournament goes to the USSF national tournament in July.
Coached by Jon Schneider, the 92 Nike Impact is made up of 16 girls from schools throughout the Knox County area.
